Thursday!

Hi
Late night was really late before we got to bed. When we went from the pub we got lost so we had to take a cab and we where so close to home that for the ride we payed 50 pence=5kronor!! But it was late and dark and 3 lost girls... Tonight we are going to another mall and look at some clothes and after that we will meet one of the teachers and have some beers with her on different pubs it will be very funny I hope.

In school today I had a power point presentation about sweden for the pupils and they really enjoyed it and when they saw pictures of Liseberg they all went crazy!!! Thay havent seen a rollercoster that big in wood before and they dont really have that much amousement parks here. It is really funny to be here and it is sad that tomorrow will be my last day in the class.

Already wednesday!!

The time flies by! It is so funny to be here in North Ireland and watch how the teacher work. Some stuff are really different and some are simulair. Today after lunch the whole class went in to a creative room and played with a teacher from primary 1. They made stuff from the recycle bin, it was all kind of stuff in the big bin and the kids loved to work and make stuff out of it. Then they played a game. One person got a word and should describe it there where certain words, they were not allowed to use. The kids loved it and it was the girls against the boys!

Tonight we are going to the city in Belfast, we are going to look after some swedish stuff to bring to the pupils so they can taste sweden! We have brought Marabou chocolate and my class will be eating it tomorrow and it will be intresting to see what they think about it. Somewhere here in Belfast there is a famous bookstore that we are going to look for and today is postcards hunting serious, we have been in many stores whitout finding any postcards so we hope we are lucky today!!

This is me and hungry Marie on the flight from Sweden to London. The flight with ryanair went well even if the seats where a little bit hard and in the end it feelt like sitting in church!!

This is me and Ulrika on the same flight, and we where lucky enough to get seats next to each other!!

When we landed in London we had some hours to kill so what are 3 girls suppose to do when they are in London! We had one smal beer....

At Fineghy's Primary!!!

It is nice to finally be here in Belfast, it was a rocky road to get here!!! The flight to London-OK! The hamburger in London....hmm it was like eating something dry, tasteless and rubbery! The flight from London to Belfast was also good. Then when we arrived to our hostel at 10pm we only entered the door and saw, this is a nightmare!! No way we are gonna stay here. The good thing was that 2 teachers from the school had come and picked us up at the airport so they helped us get another hostel. The hostel we are staying at now is the best. It is Kates B&B, it is owned by Kate and her husband, she calls him "the dog". They are the sweatest persons ever and have made our trip so much better than it would have been at that first hostel.

Today it is thusday already and it is very funny and learning to be here. Alot of things are different and the culture is a big different from home. The parents are not allowed to visit the kids during the schoolday and if they wanna talk to the teacher they have to make an appointment. And the kids have homeworks every evening and a test every friday.

Last night me, Marie and Ulrika took a walk in Belfast and stopped at a pub for a beer. It was a big beer and it didnt cost a lot of money so we will probably get out for another one soon.
